FEATURED ARTIST – Eric E. Anderson

In the spirit of farming, Eric E. Anderson describes himself as ‘corn-fed’. Originally a Midwesterner, Eric was born and raised in the suburbs of Kansas City, Missouri. After time spent canvassing the Arizona desert and beaches of California, he settled in Brooklyn, New York and began collaborating with FBFA in 2008.

Always with his camera, Eric doesn’t miss a moment on the streets of NYC. From architecture and street scenes to candid portraits of fashionable and city-worn New Yorkers, nobody escapes Eric’s gaze. His photography has a spacious and breathable quality, as though he might be subtly recreating the vast, pastoral landscapes of his childhood state or time in the desert. There is chaos and clutter, but there is also structure and expanse. Mark Twain once said “Make your mark in New York and you are a made man”; our team thinks Eric has done just that.
