Edible Tales is billed as a ‘transitory creative culinary project’ and was founded by two friends and dedicated foodies Rachel Khoo and Frankie Unsworth early last year. Since then, the duo have hosted two events – ‘Edible Immigration Tales’ in Sydney and ‘Edible Tapestry Tales’ in Melbourne. Held at the Australian Tapestry Workshop, the three-night dining experience was inspired by the history of tapestry, and the cleverly-designed menu included dishes such as Incan ceviche with vegetal threads, clothed scarlet dashi and woven fruit dessert.
