I have always been drawn to black and white photography, particularly those with strong contrasting shadows. This photo by Sharon Knight is the perfect example of that. It’s a simple shot, but it’s done in such an artful way.
There are so many elements in this photo that I gravitate towards: the bright sunlight shining through the open roof, the raw texture of the worn-down wood, the industrial metal shingles. I especially love where the crisp clean lines of the sunbeams cut across the rough, wooden walls of the barn.
