Artist Dylan Roscover created this portrait of Apple CEO Steve Jobs in a typeface-driven design by arranging a collection of Apple’s very own classic typefaces. The design is based on the “Here’s to the crazy ones” ad campaign from Apple in the 90s, using Motter Tektura—used in the 70s for the logo of the Apple II—to Myriad—used in today’s products, and going Apple Garamond, Univers, Gill Sans, and Volkswagen AG Rounded. The most significant thing, however, is the message in it:

Print
Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently.

They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo.

You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. But the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward.

And while some see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.

Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.
