Miami, of course, is a city renowned for its art.
The Miami collector is a knowledgeable and sophisticated aficionado. For the curated collection at the private residence of 6440 North Bay Road in Miami Beach, FBFA’s relished challenge was to compliment the stunning architectural features of the seven-bedroom home. A blend of organic and modern materials, the home combines cumaru wood, natural stone, along with sleek contemporary finishes throughout.
Working with the team at To Better Days Development, a firm dedicated to considered, luxury design in Miami Beach, FBFA’s goal was to bring sophisticated attention to the design through elegant, regionally specific artwork that tells a story.
Work from FBFA artist Michael J. Lotenero sets the mood—colorful abstract expressionist paintings energize the neutral design palette. Another work from FBFA favorite Dana Mooney features layers of calming pastels in orange, pink, and yellow—reminiscent of the Miami sunset (which is easy to see from any of the panoramic views from the property).
Combined with photography representative of South Beach—classic cars, Art Deco architecture, palms—the curation is laid back and vibrant. Quintessential Miami.
