Our Art Approach
We build authentic and resonating art collections with rich storytelling by engaging with artists from around the world whose artwork helps bring these stories to life in impactful and visceral ways.
ART TYPES
Fine Art Commission
Driven by our Art & Curatorial team, we work directly with artists to create a custom artwork produced for a specific space, address a specific subject matter, or to align with a particular theme.
Fine Art Original
Typically acquired through a gallery or from an artist’s studio directly, we work with artists and representatives to purchase pre-existing fine art originals for our clients’ art collections.
Farmboy Licensed
Our licensed artwork includes images by our Artist Partners from around the world as well as our internal artists that exist as digital content in the Farmboy Image Library.
Single Use License
Single use licenses are images by an artist or designer that is digitized and licensed to Farmboy to produce in-house, including client-owned or archival imagery that requires a usage license.
Environmental Graphics
Through this art type, we’re able to weave in an artistic and cohesive narrative across spaces large and small by incorporating intuitive direction across the customer journey – from entrance to hallway, from common room to private spaces – that improves the clarity, focus, and impact of the overall guest experience.
Sourced Objects
Sculptures, craft items, and other accessories are great options to provide dimensional variation in your spaces. Not typically associated with a particular artist and are widely produced, sourced objects are considered decorative pieces that round out the spatial experience and design aesthetic of a space.
Farmboy Fabricated
If you have a specific need or particular vision that you’d like to see realized, our team is well-equipped to design and develop custom art objects ranging from wall-mounted sculptures to site-specific installations. Our fabrications offer endless opportunities to further your collection’s narrative, storytelling, and viewer engagement.

Artist Partners Program
We’ve built our artwork library through developing and maintaining grassroots relationships with artists from around the world who have joined our Artist Partners Program. Compiled of thoughtfully curated selections of works by our Artist Partners, the library offers our team access to a range of artworks for use in our client projects while the program offers artists an opportunity to connect to our global community and gain exposure in international markets.
